Rebirth of a old 3d project, made in 2001. The David Roberts Project, inspired by his watercolors made in egypt, when he saw remains of egyptian temples, half covered by sand. This 3d film is an hommage to his work, and I try to keep the tipical mood of his artworks, but in motion. I work currently on a new version, more long, and of course, with better quality, 3d tools are more performant today.
Here, it's one of first sequences, which show the Kom Ombo temple, as David Roberts discovered it during his travel in egypt, along the Nile.
There's 10 different sequences. I hope finish the project around first months of 2011.

Renaissance d'un vieux projet 3D, réalisé en 2001. Le David Roberts projet, inspiré par ses aquarelles réalisés en Egypte, quand il a vu des restes de temples égyptiens, à moitié recouvert par le sable. Ce film en 3D est un hommage à son travail, et j'essaie de garder l'ambiance typique de ses œuvres, mais en mouvement. Je travaille actuellement sur une nouvelle version, plus longue et, bien sûr, avec une meilleure qualité, des outils 3D sont plus performants aujourd'hui.
Ici, c'est l'une des premières séquences, qui montrent le temple de Kom Ombo, comme David Roberts l'a découvert lors de son Voyage en Egypte, le long du Nil.
Il y a 10 séquences différentes. J'espère terminer le projet dans les premiers mois de 2011.
