Boricua on Board

Boricua on board is a song I wrote so I could share what it feels like to travel around the world for a woman born in Puerto Rico, a beautiful and magical Caribbean island. This song is a passionate attempt to relate an inventory of experiences lived during the journey. I travel to eliminate frontiers and eradicate divisions. I travel to bring shores closer and conceive bridges. I travel so that each place adds something, each person has worth and each story counts. I travel to confront my own limits. I travel to empty and fill myself all over again. I travel to spill my soul in every act and deeply feel the procession of experiences that leave imprints along the path. I travel to overflow and nurture myself with love. Thanks for traveling with me.

Boricua a bordo es un tema que compuse para compartir esa maravillosa sensación que es moverse por el mundo para una mujer nacida en Puerto Rico, una hermosa y maravillosa isla del Caribe. Esta canción es un apasionado intento de narrar un inventario de experiencias vividas durante el viaje. Viajar para anular fronteras y deshacer divisiones. Viajar para acercar orillas e inventar puentes. Viajar para que cada lugar sume, para que cada persona valga, para que cada historia cuente. Viajar para enfrentar los límites propios. Viajar para vaciarme y volver a llenarme. Viajar para volcar el alma en actos y sentir profundamente la procesión de vivencias que van marcando el trayecto. Viajar para esparcir y abastecerme de amor. Gracias por viajar conmigo.
