  • yeah, the maxamps are like 350 a pair for about the preformance of those zippy's. someone said that the mamba max's have a coating on them to protect them from water, but the electrical fan isn't waterproof, but i don't know.. when i do buy mine in like 6 months i will get a brushless editon, and at the same time buy the standard e-revo power plant so i can swap them out when raining or snowing, i just need to find good packs that both speedo's can use.. so buy 2 seperate sets. lot of money.lol

  • Hi there. A month later i've done some more research. The car isn't waterproof, the motor is water resistant and the Esc is not sealed.

I saw a movie that the Maxamps were waterproof but imho they are to expensive. Rather have some Zippy 3C/11,11V 5000mAh 30C for only $60

  • if it is waterproof i would use maxamp lipos, they are now "weather proof" accoring to maxamp.

  • I don't know why your rating is so low. I think that is one of the cleanest revos I've ever seen. Conversions can look really bad sometimes and this looks like its from the factory.

  • Nice car, thinking about buying the E-Revo BL which uses the same motor. Do you know if it's waterproof? (Ithink not). And what batts do you use and wat's ur runtime?

ps. Maybe use some extra lighting, can't see shit the first part of the movie :) Nice car tough!

  • sick boday kit
