Joan's case warrants an independent review, but there are factors that obstruct the truth. More than enough has been learned to justify an examination of Joan's case as well as Marie Iannuzzi. Three factors contribute to the resistance to open these cases. First, Joan's case was sensational with a daily barage of confusing information and incredible allegations. The motives of any individual examining these cases is challenged without examination of relevant information. Authorities involved in these cases were negligent or guilty of misconduct. The desire to cover up participation in fabricating a scapegoat is far reaching. Third, the Websters influence the allegations Burke makes in published representations from Joan's files. Records in Joan's case are not accessible to support or refute assertions. Other records are available that bring Burke's implications into serious question. The Websters had no hesitiation for privacy rights for Burke to publish allegations in an unresolved case. Essex County currently denies information for an independent review claiming their privacy. Has Essex County influenced the Websters to cover up their own wrongdoing? Joan Webster deserves the truth.
Corruption hm yes how they ran thigs the way they wanted to in Boston. Really you couldn't trust anyone ,couldn't tell police/detectives /officials from mob. They ate together at local restaurants on the North End/Boston. Pay offs were regular business. The truth will come out . It won't be easy & could be dangerous.
