@CrankCase08 People change side; some for the better and others are for the worse.The Al Qaeda in Libya were Libyans. They naturally took side for the rebels because of Gadaffi's mass killings and disappearances of hundreds unaccounted for. If your relatives are among them, you have a good enough reason to oppose Gaddafi's tyranny. The case is not so simply like your above statement. You statement only showed how ignorant and simple you are.

i can see gaddafi,s point ,he gave the citizans free hospital and a free living allowance ,and they are taking the piss out of him , this must have pissed him off ,no matter how much he gave them it just wasnt enough for some of them ,they were being greedy , poor gaddafi , they will all miss him in the end , i hope they feel the loss that they created ,ungreatfull bastardskilled him for nothing!!!!!!!

3. That says it all about you. Gaddafi was indeed against al Qaeda. He opposed the tactic of Jihad and the promoton of Islamism be means of terrorism, yet you defend the right of these Islamist Jihadists to overthrow Gaddafi, who was, after all, doing exactly what you claim the US was doing. So your argument is caught up in a tangle of contradictions and falls flat.

3. Liar - Al Qaeda were tortured, imprisoned and many died by the hands of Gaddafi. He released them hopefully to regain their favor but he killed too many too much blood spilled and stained on his hands. They joined the rebels. Most were Libyans who had a score to settle with Gaddafi. .
