There are many options for cooking while on the trail. We chose the GSI Bugaboo Hiker mainly because of the price but also because it's big enough to cook for 2 people at once. It's also kind of neat the way it all packs into itself. And it's the one my wife wanted.....when mama's happy, I'm happy.

  • Hope you do more vids on the Oct hike? Show the stove and cook set in action. I really like seeing stuff being used on the trail. You do great videos.

  • @elrayabc Funny you mentioned it. We're heading back to the trail in a week or so and trying out a new cook system... we'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for watching ;) c

  • Great information thanks

  • I like ur video on ur equipment and how u change ur video to include the other crazy ones! Lol! Anyways thanks for the update on the equipments very very helpful!!!!

  • Thanks DennyRec The Bugaboo Hiker kit was great and we'll use it for regular camping trips in the future but we found it was too bulky for long hikes. Currently working on building a Heinken can cook pot. Videos to come prolly. Thanks for the comments though. Have a great day.

  • I like how you made your own stove and wind shield. I use a pocket rocket so there is some weight with the fuel. I usually have a few items pre made or I use a mess kit to cook and eat with. About 5 ozs total there. You got a great way of doing things and thanks again
