  • You made a nice video, but, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but, how in the world are you suppose to take a shower with that trickle? You mean, a sponge bath? Why not just boil the hell out of a huge pot of water on the coleman stove, then, add it to another less warm, and then take a sponge bath out of that, then poor it over your head to rinse off, while the next huge pot is warming up?? Would this be the same? And all you need is a coleman stove.

  • @chivone21 - Watch my other video "Complete Camp Shower System w/ Coleman Hot Water On Demand " and you will see. Sponge bath? I don't think so!

  • I just read the manual.......Says if it leaks send it back.

  • @dc125 That is correct! That's exactly what I did, and have had no leaking issues with the new unit.

  • Hi there,

Can I ask is the flow of water coming out of the unit during your video, the maximum volume the unit can produce?Any approximation of how much water does come out of the unit????

    Thanks mate, happy camping :)

  • @waterworkss The pump works at exactly 1 Gallon Per Minute, if you run it continuously. Check out my other video "Complete Camp Shower System w/ Coleman Hot Water On Demand ".

  • @SARSquid79 OMG....talk about put your foot in your mouth....I mean, my BOOT and foot! This is neat! Reminds me of our Desert Storm showers. Geez, this must be expensive, where'd you buy all this stuff from, how much did it cost? I want this !!! This is perfect, just perfect for an emergency.

  • @wifebeater756 It's not supposed to do that. The original unit I had that I used to make this video did leak a little bit. I returned it to REI and exchanged it for a new unit, and I have had ZERO problems with the replacement HWOD System. No dripping water!

  • why does water come out of it ?? i wanted to get one till i noticed that
