This is my instruction video. I am using a Toshiba Satellite L45. Sorry about my bad filming skills. You will often see my dad do some of the work in the video =P

I am just a teenager and not a computer specialist. This was a tutorial I made for fun. I will likely not be able to answer EVERY question.

  • Uh. I broke my entire LCD. I cannot see ANYTHING on my 10' toshiba. Do I just do that????

  • @Artys10 Yep! It ought to work.

  • Hello, I have a Satellite L305D and I recently thought the Lighting on the screen had broken, But I realize the connection of the lighting is just loose, (Figured it out randomly when my brother went to get on WoW [we have it connected to an External mon] ) My question, if I follow this guide, would I be able to get into the internal casing and secure the connection of the light?

  • @Radutsepesh probably

  • we tryed this and my husband got some liquid stuff on his hand ... is it dangerous, to breath or to come in skin contact with that liquid? ty!

  • can someone tell me if i need a screen replacement

  • @Absoltastic I had to buy a new LCD. Except..I think it only has 4 screws...........I think. I can't see the screws on the top after i took out the rubber stuff.

  • they have lcds for like 60 dollars

  • how do u put it back together do every thing in reverse

  • I would only like to ad that $170 is really expensive to invest in an older laptop. I know you can get screens on ebay (nothing wrong with used) for less than $30. You can be an awesome computer on ebay for $170 working.
