What amp did you use to record that beautiful El Maya?

@MrMemag It's recorded through a Dickinson 45w head & a custom 1x12 cab. It's an amp I adore!. The solo is through a stereo tremolo pedal with one side going through the overdriven Dickinson, the other through a Laney VC30 set sparkling clean. Quite a subtle effect but it helps with the 'lushness' of the sound on the solo. It's a lovely guitar isn't it? Sadly I've had to sell it on to a dealer, but at least to someone who knows & cares about vintage Japanese guitars. Thanks, Jesse

@MrMemag Always good to know that there are others who appreciate what fabulous & rare guitars these El Mayas are. They'll be selling for thousands in ten years when the rest of the guitar playing world catches on! If I could afford to have kept it I would have done. But I don't have the Billy Gibbons budget sadly!

I actually have two successful purchases of EL Maya EM1300 (aka future 4), both for ridiculously low cash (250e). Weird looking girl, but I often find myself playing it for hours while neglecting the other "high quality" guitars.

I don't think I will sell it, but you never know, right.
