  • somebody please confirm, i paint unassembled miniature and then clue it together with the HUMBROL poly cement or the REVEL Contacta professionel?

Or are they both the same?

  • @CRAZY6256 Yes, as you see - I assembled miniature to the stage when painting will not be problem. Then I painted, after it assembled. Contacta, poly cement are very similar

  • Do you apply your glue over the paint? Would it make a better bond by gluing plastic to plastic?

  • @Timbucktoo32 Yes, I do. Poly cement (Humbrol) and Contacta professional (revel) melt throgh the paint.

  • Very good info. One suggestion, you could show a bit of how you prepare the models and tools...you focus 100% on the model :) Also, why dont you apply the washes by AB? I do my own washes with acrylic and matte medium and pretty well...never tried the glaze. Last question...isopropanol is the same as isopropyl alcohol? Because that is what I to strip models and what tamiya uses for its AB cleaber...I use pure windiwcleaner as dilutant for my vallejo paints. Thanks and keep it up

  • @T3mpano Applying washes with airbrush is less precise. Sometimes I do that - check out my movie about building the drop pod. Isopropanol is Isopropyl alcohol. Yes, I know it is aggresive agent, but I like when pigments, metallics react with main layer of paint. Just try :)

  • Fantastic job!!

BTW what washes do you use? GW stuff or similarly commercial products or oil paints? Thanks!

  • So, is a "common Polish spider" optional or a must? :)

    Great tutorials, thanks...

  • This is a wonderful paintjob. Well done!

I will be following this guide in a very similar way with my Arachnoroks!

  • I would like to know whar you use for washes. I would like to try to recreate your washes they seem very effective. Also was that Tamiya smoke you used for the eyes?

  • @Buypainted because you can fill the caps, between the parts of model fore a cleaner look !!!!!!!!!!!
