This is a version of the song Youngstown from Macnhester, England on May 2nd. 1999.
It's part of the same project as Rendezvous that I had completely forgotten about but found on my drive while doing some cleanup.

Anyway. This is a comparison between the original video and a zoomed, stabilized and by looking at it with some auto color, contrast filters applied. I really don't remember.

Anyway. The question is.. What's the best version? The fullscreen or the widescreen? No matter what it's a pretty coola nd good sounding version of Youngstown.

  • Thanks for these uploads, this is him at his best.

  • Nils Lofgren ladies and gents. Underrated guitarist to say the least.

Buy the Video from HBO...the version in NEW YORK ROCKS...great solo by NILS

  • I'll bet someone has the original feed that went up on that screen. That would be something!

  • Cool, I'm from Youngstown! Love it that he sings a song about it!

  • Full vs. wide, who cares? It's hearing him that is so awesome. Thanks for this!

  • Amazing guitar solo, Nils!

  • Full screen is fine with me, as I haven't got a wide screen tv. Cool, SD!
