@priest008 Retarded? Are you insane? She was severely brain damaged, to the extent that she had no purposeful reactions, could not eat or swallow, had to rely on a feeding tube. Who would want that? She was a physical shell; her mind, what made her her, was gone, never to return. Her parents interpreted basic brain stem reactions into what they wanted to see.

My mother left a living will; we followed her wishes, and let her go, so I am quite familiar with American style "euthanasia".

Terri had feelings, just because she was retarded it doesn't mean she couldn't feel love anymore or feel hungry, she felt hungry when they starved her to death, I wish you would only feel a fraction of what that's like. Wow it is mad to see how many cold people exist in the world. Hitler was a saint compared to many of you here, (and we all know he was no saint) we talk about the atrocities of slavery, holocaust etc and whence a persons feeding tube be removed so the person starves to death, and people write in with stupid comments and comments that lack emotion, these people belong to no other than the Devil.
