Racist LSU fans @ BCS Bowl, 2008

This video was from January 08 in New Orleans. New Orleans is a very diverse multi-cultural city, but many of the 'burbs surrounding the city are full of ignorant bitter angry racists who come to the city for sporting events... we wish they wouldn't though - they foul our great city and give every decent thoughtful and caring white person a really bad name....
Hopefully the recent election is a signal that as a country we are ready to condemn and move past this kind of despicable behavior....but, I'm not sure guys like this are capable of even the smallest change .....

Simply not true. There was never a provision in HUD policy that stipulated public housing was meant to be temporary. In fact after the Magnolia was built there was still such a shortage of decent housing, (though no shortage of slumlords), that many were able to stay even though their incomes had exceeded the allowable limit - and also mainly because of such racist policies as redlining after the WWII.
