  • @jms20211 It was amazing......to this day I'm sure there is nothing as balanced and had the sound that place had....not to mention the three inches of sand UNDER the hardwood floors. Ask anyone who was there. Technology is nice but where's the soul and spirit of it all....you'll NEVER have what we had then. NEVER !

  • wow ...Mike Stone Productions....followed him in studio 54 to bonds to better days....Kenny Carpenter was his dj and used to tear shit up...highly undereated

  • The thing is that music was mastered differently back then. So to compare it to any sound system today is strange. I'm sure it was amazing. But technology today has surpassed any system that was put together back then.

  • Larry played differently on Friday and Saturday. Friday nite was his "commercial" nite. He played music that was more radio friendly, but on Saturday nite when the crowd tended to be a bit more "gay" Larry used to play music that was "off the hook"! Saturday was when you would hear him break new cutz and songs and mixes never before heard. The Gallery and the Loft were undoubtedly the precursor of what Larry did at the Garage, but they did not have the influence and the power of the Mighty G!

  • @theloyalone100 I dont think this is the case at all these days man. Especially if its house music being played at said bar. Everyone is welcome. These problems only reside in mainstream bars that are playing that shitty mainstream radio music. House music is still bringing ppl together to this day ;)

  • @sun818 theyre directed straight ahead, outwards, like above the heads of the dancefloor, whereas the subs are pointed down towards the ppl. I believe anyway...

  • TIGHT!

  • I don't understand... what does it mean to put 8 tweeters on the dancefloor outwards?

  • true many emotions, memories, thank God my boy had Membership.

  • whats the song in @ 4 mins?! please some one post up the name
