Dinoriders: Ice Age Episode Part 1

This was not an actual episode of the short-lived series, rather a special (much like the first two installments) to ring in a new toy line. This particular episode involves the Dino Rider commandoes going back in time and fighting English-speaking cavemen.

65 million years from the Mezosiac era is NOW. Not the Ice Age. Also, the Styracosaurus would have frozen to death within minutes, surely.

The last ice age ended just ~12 thousand years ago, WELL within the margin of error of dating the K/Pg boundary.

Also, that's just 65 million years from end of the Cretaceous. The Mesozoic was ~180 million years long.

The ceratopsian in the cartoon is supposed to be a Pachyrhinosaurus, though the nose horn is incorrect.

Wow you can spot all the classic 80's voices. Optimus Prime & Megatron from Transformers, Ray from Ghost Busters, Raphael from Ninja Turtles, etc. etc. :P

Just noticed that the noise the megatherium makes is taken from Gwangi, an allosaurus in the movie "The Valley of Gwangi." Actually, its taken from a particular scene in which Gwangi fights a styracosaurus. Great dinosaur movie!

This might sound weird but the pachyrhinosaurus almost looks like it fits there in the ice age (I guess it's because it reminds me a lot like an elasmotherium, a sort of woolly rhino).
