This video shows a rock-vs-a small broken piece of ceramic from a spark plug thrown against a car window. We heard this works and had to try it. It did work. It works because the aluminum oxide ceramic is much harder than glass. Aluminum oxide ceramic rates a 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Diamond rates a 10. glass rates 6.5, and iron rates a 4.5. This is video is for training only.

  • @tim9355 no it's because the ceramic is tougher than the glass -_- glass is 5 on the scale aluminum oxide is 9 diamond is 10

  • Wow, i actually didn't know that. That was pretty informative.

  • Nice^^

  • @dva511 What he said!

  • haha, awesome :D

  • The electric charge in the ceramic generated by the spark plug while it was in use makes it react with the windows coating to cause the spidering/break.

  • wow imagine if a tire ran over that and threw that at you on the highway

  • So that's who broke my car window!

  • hahahaha!
