My father and his father and his fathers father was in the Marines, and guess where I'm heading after high school.... To the Marines. People at school ask me why would I want t die for a country? I reply with "If I don't who well?" I'm talking to the ones who say they will join then don't. And yes I am a female, but that doesn't mean anything, that doesn't mean I can't stand up for what I believe is right. I am PROUD to be an AMERICAN!!! Who's with me?!

I'm currently a Senior in High School, but I'm signing up to join the Army right after I graduate. Both my Grandpa's were in it, my Dad was in the Air force, and now one of my closest cousins is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg in NC. He's Airbone and Infantry. It's been my dream to do this, and I cannot wait to start it. It's gonna be one of the hardest things I'll ever have to do, but I love this country even though our gov is fucked up and I promise y'all I'll work my ass of to keep it safe.

Everyone who served in wars, whether our enemies or not, should be honored equally after death. They did what they believed was right no matter what they did.

God Bless all our military, past,present, and future. Let us never forget those who served, or those who lost their lives making the sacrifices most are too scared to do. Let us not forget the sacrifices the soldier's family's made. I propose that everyone who sees this comment, whenever it may be, to take a moment out of the day to pray for our military and our country, and to remember and thank those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

@allisonandbailee Thank you, I'm PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AS WELL. You are going to join the military, most of our generation now don't want to join, they are either hippies or think that the military is baby killers. They don't even know how many lives OUR military saves by doing what they do. And as far as standing up for what is right, i'm glaf to see someone else of my generation who has been RAISED RIGHT, as a patriot and a proud citizen of the United States of America. God bless you.

There's ancient Marine blood in your veins. Never let anybody tell you that you can't do it, because you can! I was once told that I was wasting my life and that if I do this I was only born to die. @allisonandbailee Don't you hate all the "Girls are too emotional for war" bullcrap?! Every time enlisting is bout up in my school (which is small and you'd think this wouldn't be much of an issue) all the guys say women aren't capable of coping with the side-effects of war as well as men, if they can at all! I hate it! >:(
