Spot on -- Jesse and Uncle Al make millions off Black suffering and they don't want it to end or they lose their racket. Jesse is particularly despicable; he's not even a real reverend and he STOLE Dr. King's mantle from a REAL reverend and Dr. King's heir apparent, Ralph Abernathy. I'm not even a Muslim but honestly over the years in my opinion the one man who has always genuinely had Black interests at heart is Minister Farrakhan and look how they demonize him.

expediency? Talk about doing things for self-interest... and the whole Jackson/MLK t-shirt incident? The main source I got on that is from, in a negative light, is from a right-wing "christian" group in Colorado Springs. But so what if Jackson used that blood to ignite his own career? What's so wrong about seizing leadership and taking charge at such a tragic and important moment?

rights era, but Jackson wouldn't have even considered welfare "reform." I'm in Detroit at the moment, which isn't a white town, and there's no jobs, and so this talk of "get off your lazy ass and get a job" don't cut it up in here because there AIN'T no jobs. But I didn't vote for Clinton the second time, I'm voting for Obama this time (if I vote) but I don't expect a single miracle from him. If he's willing to not let 2 Muslim women on stage, who knows what else he'll cover up for political

but whenever he fell off that tightrope he fell into the arms of the Republicans. I personally wrote Bill Clinton at that time urging him to withdraw his support from welfare "reform," and he while Betty Curry or whoever was generous enough to reply to me, we all know what happened with that. I was living in Boulder CO at that time which is about as white as it gets but Boulder went overwhelmingly for Jackson. Maybe it's that some whites have a nostalgic vision of Jackson, coming from the civil

Only Hosea Williams and Ally Pat I find are at Williams' funeral, with both Andrew Young and Jesse Jackson in attendance. Why people are down on Jackson and Sharpton I'll never really understand, all I know is they enjoy wide support and are relevant, Obama or no.
So what's the dirt or whatever Williams had on Jackson? I've been digging for a while and again, only came up with funeral footage.
I don't agree with Jackson on everything, but speaking of tightrope, Clinton walked that too

Hosea Williams?

I can respect your REASONING, but this the question I have for you...
This situation has NOTHING to do with Al Sharpton, so how does that classify him with Jesse Jackson?
The problem I have is that the MEDIA loves to put us in that negative light so much the we justify that negativity on OUR People.
Then White leaders or position power whites come under no type of scunity at ALL, but has done some of the most damaging setbacks in the HISTORY and recent history of blacks.
