  • I too would like to ask for a source on Japanese aggression. As far as I know, after Zhukov and the Three Tankists showed them at Khalkhin Gol, everything was peaceful until the Manchurian Strategic Offensive Operation. Was there a battle which wasn't widely documented?

  • @AndrejaKo

III Reich allies often sent their best soldiers of well trained units to aid in Barbarrossa Campaign, as USA used units from Brazil(FEB) and units from other countries to aid in war efforts.

  • A soviet propaganda movie

  • @am1966ath

If anything that is made in USSR must be seen as propaganda, then we must assume that all the Holywood movies are propaganda as well. Primitive argument.

WHERE exactly were Japanese forces deployed in USSR? I cannot find any sources or any information that Japan sent forces to USSR. Barbarossa in you video started on June 1941 about 6 months BEFORE Japan attacked Pearl Harbour in the Pacific. Germany then declared war on the USA on 10 Dec 1941, BUT Japan and USSR DID NOT declare war with each other. The Soviet Union declared war on Japan in 08/45 three months AFTER after Germany was defeated. PLEASE can you give me your sources.

  • @Swordman85 OK. I did know that quisling forces from occupied countries and various minor German allies did send their units to the eastern front. I just didn't know about Japanese involvement at the time.

  • @Swordman85 Finland was a an archduchy of the russian empire between 1810 and 1917. They liberated themselves and had an independent nation. Soviet demands for harbours etc usually lead the way to total annexation like the Baltic countries. The Finns, a proud people of warriors under command of an ex tsarist General Mannerheim said no, fought and annihilated a soviet army...thereafter the Finns kept their freedom from soviet bolshevism filth as the only language Stalin understood was violence.

  • @Swordman85 Hollywood films were also producing fake historical dramas. Film can and is used in propaganda..the difference is the level of education of the citizens looking at the film. North Koreans looking at

an film has a smaller frame of reference than say a German couple who have traveled the world and speak many languages. The worst enemies of propaganda lies is well read, educated and traveled populations.

  • @Swordman85 super human soviets citizens and then in finale, the great god descends from heaven, Stalin landing at Brandeburger Tor(ludicrous). Now most soviet films were quite dull, filled of opera singers and dramatic theatre actors who sings patriotic songs or fight some dark/hidden enemy.

  • @Swordman85 Many US films and tv-series are pure propaganda yes, look at Baywatch,L.A.Law or Kojak,Band of Brothers,Pearl Harbour. Certainly and most american movies are also hidden advertisment for stupid products(products placements) products like Coca-Cola,GM jeeps,swiss-watches etcetc.

In the 1930 and 40 very few soviet citizens went abroad or meet others than soviets, at that time it could be said of many peoples so yes this film is sovietpropaganda yes..full of heroic, rightous

  • @Swordman85 ok,but Serbs made Yugoslavia,we was for Yugoslavia same as Russia was for USSR!P.S. "bosniaks" or bosnian muslims are not nation...same goes for "macedonians"...

    >Democratic republics are not the same as imperialistic nations. The very fact that you would use such rhetorics suggests that you are beyond reason and logic.

-You listed few very biased U.S. media-houses but left out the good and informant ones, which again suggests your biased view-points.

But riddle me this; where has the supposed communistic society worked?

  • @Swordman85

    >You have grand blind-spots in Soviet history, it seems. Political prisoners and POWs from Soviet Civil War were used to dig the channels and build the railways and roads. Death-tolls were extreme.

-In addition, Russia and later SU had no industry to speak of, Stalin used people like drones in order to build this industrial base. It caused untold damage to the enviroment and to the people.

If the socialistic form is so grand, why the nations which had them, are/were miserable?

  • oh yes D day first 42 But Churchill murder of the Irish said NO then 43 then when the RED ARMY REALLY KICKING ASS! Then Winston said "we better get in there Fast!!" I am puzzled about the Japanese--I thought the lesson Zhukov taught them at Khalkin Gol kept them quiet BTW a recent book shows Chuchill was willing to continue to support Chamberlain and had to be pressured by Duff Cooper and others.
