Done by a fellow club member - first is a multi-color change 8", then a 12" brocade shell - beautiful job on both!

  • Outstanding shells, would you mind sharing brocade formula?

  • @pyrozmuro This was not my shell, and I am not sure what formula he used in it.. sorry! If I do find out and it's in the public domain, I will let you know.

  • @pyrozmuro Ok it's a public formula, just be careful of the Ferrotitanium mesh...

    30.3 Potassium Nitrate

    30.3 Charcoal, Airfloat

    6.1 Sulfur

    6.1 Dextrin

27.25 Ferrotitanium - this should be finer than 60 mesh - sift out ALL the coarser particles or it will burn to the ground for quite some time - I can testify to this... kept coming down for over a minute. Try to get it to 150-325 mesh if you can, it's critical. Not much oxidizer in there, so it does burn at a slow rate of speed. Good Luck!
