Wow, the tone of his voice at the last part 2:45, is just incredible! I have never seen a singer who sounds better without music than David Archuleta, he's just amazing!

and how significant is it that he ended his set with this song and not one of his own..... it's becasue this day was about FREEDOM..... about our troops, and about being an AMERICAN... and not about him....he is the most selfless person I have ever seen

When doing this kind of song, a lot of singers jump at the chance to show off with vocal acrobatics which then the performance becomes about them. David always puts so much feeling of love, respect and honor into these beautiful patriotic songs. Even when he does improvise or lets his creativity flow in arrangement, it's a beautiful thing because of that voice, that most precious gift of his, as in this performance.

@HPfanRinnie, how can people like it when most of them don't even know that TOSOD exists. How can they expect good sales when they didn't promote it properly. However, it's time to move on and forget about Jive. With or w/out Jive, David is still soaring. David is spreading his wings. His performance on Mirtle Beach was amazing, his tour will be awesome either in Asia or in the US.

I was one of those fans who flew to Utah to see David perform at Stadium of Fire. I know of at least 50 to 75 others who did. Maybe more. It was so worth it! And to all of you, glad you enjoyed the video and yeah, this was an amazing performance.
