@Pedwily religion has as much to do with this as atheism does. There is no religion only iidiology. And whether u are or aren't religious you are still part of an idiology which thinks your way is the right way. Hence the cycle for violence will always be around cause of people like you blaming an idiology opposite of your own.

Oil has been central to middle east politics for over 100 years. Nothing political is done there that is not related to oil. Without cheap oil the USA grumbles and the World dies a little more. The issue is that we 'are' better than the terrorist. His/her brutality is not the moral yardstick by which we judge ourselves and our actions. You gain far more with a corrot than you ever can with a stick. Peace on Earth should be the global mantra. Pussies of the world unite.
