@55ella2007k That's why I don't watch TV anymore :) Since posting that message, I've listened to some of his stuff. I don't necessarily agree with every single bit of it, but the majority of his views seem rational.

@tonyfalca There is plenty of Derrick Jensen's stuff on YT. All of it is worth listening to, because Jensen is not an extremist, his viewpoints are rather pragmatic and worth considering. Personally, I disagree with some of his philosophy, but it is worth studying and listening to, in order to make up your own mind. It's a far cry from the main stream media bs which we are being fed on a daily basis.

Ten years? The oligarchs are preparing for it now... and so am I... sheeple are sheeple... everyone can not be saved. Even with love in your heart and the best interests and well wishes for all... everyone can not be saved. There must be the sacrifices before the masses rise against tyranny. It is unfortunate and sad that people become too comfortable within their cages of their own design by electing corrupt politicians and supporting a system that is designed to fail.

Good excerpt of Jensen's talk, Cheri ! The message, as I understand it, is this: there is a fine line between remaining passive + continuing to 'hope' that things will not get worse than they already are, versus taking CONCRETE action, once you believe that the point of no return is near. At this point, it will no longer matter, because your chances of dying are almost 90% certain, no matter which road you choose. It is literally your LAST chance for survival.
