Armbandwecker Breil AS 5007 Automatic Alarm Wristalarm

The video shows a special wristalarm from the 70th . It is an AS 5007 alarmwatch from Breil. Remarkable is the indicator of the alarmtime, a disc like the Omega Memomatic. An additional pulsation scale like a chronograph (Base 30 Pulsations) is on the dial.
The watch looks like a chronograph, because of the crown in the middle and the two pushers.

The movement is an AS 5008 without day indicator, which is called AS 5007. There are two springs, 17 jewels. 28800 A/h, bidirectional automatic rotor winding, quick date set and second stop.

Operation manual:

Crown 2 o'clock in position "0" = hand winding of the watch (time)

Crown 2 o'clock in position "1" = quick set for the date

Crown 2 o'clock in position "2" = setting of time (for- and backward), stop of the movement

Crown 4 o'clock in position "0" = hand winding of the alarm

Crown 4 o'clock in position "1" = setting of the alarmtime, activation of the alarm

The is stainless steel with a snap caseback. It is NOS (factory new). The bezel is fixed, not turnable as it looks at the first view. The alarmtime is shown by the red arrow on the center rotating alarm disc. The other red double mark is for "show". But so the watch looks like the Omega Memomatic with the minute setting of the alarmtime. Quite a "fake".

Das Video zeigt einen besonderen Armbandwecker aus den 70er Jahren. Es handelt sich um den AS 5007 Wecker der Firma Breil. Das Besondere an dieser Uhr ist die Anzeige der Weckzeit mit einer Scheibe im Stil der Omega Memomatic. Ebenso ist ein Pulsmessskala ähnlich wie bei einem Chronographen angebracht (Base 30 Pulsations).

Das Werk ist ein AS 5008 ohne Wochentagsanzeige, welches damit zum AS 5007 wird. Es hat zwei Federhäuser, 17 Jewels, 28800 A/h, bidirektionaler Automatic Rotoraufzug, Datum-Schnellverstellung und Sekundenstopp.

Bedienung:

Krone 2 Uhr Position „0" = Handaufzug der Uhr (Zeit)

Krone 2 Uhr Position „1" = Datum-Schnellverstellung

Krone 2 Uhr Position „2" = Verstellen der Uhrzeit (vor und zurück), Stopp des Uhrwerkes

Krone 4 Uhr Position „0" = Handaufzug des Weckers

Krone 4 Uhr Position „1" = Verstellen der Weckzeit, Wecker aktiviert

Diese Uhr hat ein Stahlgehäuse mit Sprengdeckelboden und ist NOS (fabrikneu). Die geriffelte Lünette ist nicht drehbar. Die Weckzeit wird durch den roten Pfeil auf der inneren Drehscheibe angezeigt. Die entgegen gesetzte Doppelmarkierung ist ohne Belang, gibt der Uhr aber das Aussehen der Omega Memomatik, ohne die minutengenaue Weckzeiteinstellung jedoch zu besitzen. Also ein „Design-Plagiat".
