http://daz4590.co.uk/wordpress/2009/07/23/the-verdict-devolo-dlan-highspeed-i... I've had the Devolo dLan Highspeed II Starter Kit for a couple of weeks now and with my experience, it is time to send my review over to you guys. If you haven't seen the unboxing go and watch that video. So here's the Devolo dLan Highspeed II Starter Kit but has it worked as expected?

  • do they need to be 200 meters from each other or all from your router

  • @Mr2018TV No, thats the maximum distance away from each other.

  • do you have to have 2? or can you just have one and plug it in away from your router?

  • @MrKyle080906 Yes you need 2. It doesn't create an open wireless network or use another one.

  • so, i plug one of them into a wall socket near the router and connect it.

bud now i want to plug the other one into a socket outside near my hammock thats a diffrent group. dous it needs to be on the same group?

  • @kiddy1992 They don't go via the power, they travel via radio waves 2.4ghz. So they'll work.

  • I have a problem. I have another model, but anyways, sometimes the download speed from one device to another is 5 mb and the upload is 100 mb or opposite. is it an error or is it the power saver function or something? how do i fix it? got the numbers from the cockpit.

  • @dazz4590 ok thanks

  • how much mbps does it give you ?

  • @craigjaggs you can split it but thats my current issue do i buy a £5 splitter an lose speed or well spend a extra £60 and keep the speed i currently have 2 av 200 easy (white) and want to connect it to my old 85 one ( blue) but yeah you can get a ethernet splitter

  • So say its connecting up to a PS3 but you have a 360 as well, can you split it? or will you lose a bit of speed?

  • Don't bother ringing Customer Technical Services for Devolo unless you want to spend all day on the phone waiting whilst paying per minute for the call. A good way of making money.
