The U.S. was neither domestically engaged enough or militarily ready to enter Europe in 1939. We entered when Americans supported it and we were certain we would be successful. Please, watch the commercial again. Simply put, the commercial you commented on does not say anything about 'first' as you write in your original comment. As for your idiotic analysis of a delay in fighting Axis powers, the U.S. was fighting in north Africa against the Germans in mid 1942, just 7 months after a mutual declaration of war with Germany. I suggest you try to stay awake in 20th century history class. I have little regard for ignorant distain of epic events.

Apparently Al Gore also invented D-Day, Martin Luther King Jr and the Apollo missions. What a waste of advertising money these ads are. There's no "climate crisis". A change of less than 2 degrees over 140 years is not a significant change, nor cause for concern. Think about it, no one was burning coal and driving cars during the last ice age melt. The real danger is that a political loser like Gore cries wolf and lose the public's trust for when we have a real problem.

Which means that the US waited almost five years to invade Europe. Do you know why, you stupid fuck? It says we (U.S.) didn't wait for others to storm the beaches of Normandy and we (U.S.) didn't wait for others to guarantee civil rights (ala guarantees from comprehensive civil rights legislation in 1964 and the 13th, 14th and 24 Amendments to the Constitution). You apparently learned what they DID NOT put there. Now that is amazing!
