The Head and The Heart are an indie folk alternative band from Seattle, Washington. The six piece strong collective of multi instrumentalists formed back in 2009, and in only two short years since their musical birth, have gone on to great things.
In 2010 the band signed to Bruce Pavitts homegrown inde label 'Subpop Records' and never looked back. The Basement Sessions were lucky enough to be graced by their upbeat sounds and pitch perfect melodies on the bands last tour of Europe.
Three mind blowing performances await you.
Enjoy, AllSaints.

Does he say 'I wish I was a slave to an age old trade, like ridin round in railcars and workin long days'??? Since when was ridin round in railcars a trade??? Also these people don't look like they drink much whiskey or have 'Rough and rowdy ways'. More like rivers of herbal tea and pilates. Ha. Sorry but I just can't believe a word they're sayin.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. The lead singer could be Freddy Mercury's kin folk. That being said I'll draw no comparisons to their respective works only that each is unbelievably good at what they do.
Music like this is why I continue to care.
