On July 28, 2011 the Interfaith Press Conference held outside of Gainesville's City Hall protested unfair and unnecessary hardships of the typical Florida farmworker, and in some instances, conditions of modern slavery. In this narrative describing a day in the life of a farmworker by Nely Rodriguez of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and Interfaith Action Network we can hear first hand how the workers are treated. Her dramatic testimony is translated by Jordan Buckley.
