Yeahhh, I know exactly what you mean about all of this! I've only told... I dunno, eight people? It's a bit more than you I suppose, but hey. I'm... like 3 years older. I told my best girl friend first too. And your right, they were super awkward when i told them my crush. Randomly friended him on facebook. Yeah, THAT makes sense. @easyquinn1 - Only come out if your 100% confident that you'll be safe when you do, maybe just come out to a few of your closest friends first then if when you come out to all your friends you can get support from them. Just keep your chin up, smile and be yourself. this is just what I think :-)

sounded like that girl liked you lol. and yeah telling a huge group of people would be a muchh better idea cause it shows you're confident and not afraid to be who you really are and it won't start random rumours :)
