I don't know how I feel about this interview. I'm interested in farming, but a lot of complaints are pretty common: hard work, low pay, heavy government regulations, a lot of investment and high risk. Eric's response was to get kids interested in the high tech aspects of farming. He should have focused on the ability for a farmer to make money. If a career in farming is a lot of work with a lot of investment and high risk with low pay. Who's going to be interested?
