  • This engine has been outside about 30 years, also during winters. There has been water at the block, so both sides of the block are cracked very badly. It is not possible to use any kind of cooling in this engine for that reason.

And for all people, who had to send all kind of comments of this: this is not your business and in the other hand, I have several other good blocks what I am using in rebuilding. This engine is just a junk, and there is not so many parts what you can use.

  • Poor engine. it's like waking up someone who is in coma for 30 years and then kill him.

  • @3DPeter How so?

  • I wonder hoe long will the engine last with collent isi that rue the falt with the Lincoln V12 was onlly had four main bearings and the driver had to be careful not to luggit on hilla and drop to snd gear

  • @ilmos1: but in the year of 2010 you can use several ways of welding to rescue this Block ... in my oppinion ...

  • your thermostat doesnt even open for 5-10 minutes after you start an engine... what does that mean... no water is being circulated... so yeah unless you are gonna run it dry for more than 5 -8 minutes... there shouldnt be a problem.

  • @ilmos1 thats not a junk engine man!

  • To those thinking running it without water will kill it: you are wrong, unless he runs it for 10 or more minutes it will be fine with no water. i did this alot while testing engines without a cooling system was hooked up and never had a problem.

  • @jaysayershuh,sorry for the late reply,get fucked u halfwit.

  • @madjimms It's hard to weld cracked bock.. There could be cracks on the inside too.

  • i like the sound of a rough engine

  • @jaysayershuh you must be kidding. your post is in capitals and calling some1 'clearly one dumb son of a b****' isnt exactly the opposite of swearing. I guess the idea of this post was to stress yr point LOL
