After "Bridge Over Troubled Water" I thought Clay had it in the bag. I still think if busy signals hadn't been a factor Clay would have been Season 2's champ.

Again, I'm finding someone I was unaware of. Wow!! What a voice, and I love seeing Randy, Paula, and Simon swaying back and forth together. This is the first performance I've heard Ruben in and my mouth is hanging open and all I can think about is how amazing he is but I also have to say that Clay Aiken's performance of "Bridge" was his strongest performance ever. I'm glad it came down to these two guys!!!!

Ruben was a worthy winner but Clay was better and even better still was Rickey Smith.

No offence ruban wasnt anything special..sounds like anyother soul singer, but clay was a sport and was ripped of the title...but Im canadian so what do i know....lol

Wow; compared to most idol shocking moments, sounds like the audience were not too upset. Its not like a big total loss anyways because Clay Aiken sold more albulms than Ruben anyways. So to wrap this up; I can understand that you wanted Clay Aiken to win, but stop insulting Ruben because he won. Its not like his fault. Maybe some of your asses should vote more Clay Aiken like I did. Ruben may not be special, but at least he can sing better than the people insulting him. Check yourself haters.
