A Belton Police Officer shot a woman's dog, Lillie, while the woman stood 5 feet away. He shot Lillie once and then 3 more times as Lillie ran away. His actions were dangerous and irresponsible. But he was cleared of any wrong doing, or misconduct after a brief internal investigation by the Belton Police Department.
The majority of towns in the United States are small towns and in Texas that is the rule rather than the exception.
Therefore small towns are the hub where activism must start.
We cannot allow these injustices to flourish any longer.
