Maybe, Sandy Koufax can NOT be over looked.

Tiger Woods plays chumps, put Woods in Jack Nicklaus group and Woods would have a much bigger challenge.

Lance Armstrong. Marshall Taylor, you must be high.

This is a tough one, but the only one's I think could match Ali were Jack Johnson and Marciano.

You can have Wilt, I will take Jordan.

More of the same as in you only see Black? Need to wake up.

Jordan was a much bigger winner than Chamberlain (who was great nonetheless). Pedro Martinez in his prime is the best starting pitcher I've ever seen and Pujols and Bonds (before steroids) are the best position players I've seen.

My grandfather played briefly in MLB in 1932 and said Lefty Grove was the best pitcher he faced.

Bonds (before steroids) was one of the best you've seen?
He was good before roids of course, but have you compared his stats before and after roids?

His batting average, home runs and on-base % went way up. His other skills declined (defense and base-stealing).

When I wrote "before steroids," I just meant that he was the best all-around legit player I've ever seen. Of course he was amazing after steroids but lots of players were amazing on steroids. The #s put up from 1999-2007 (or maybe 1999-2004) by Barry Bonds are tainted and, thus, not worthy of consideration IMO.
