I tried this game on my laptop (C2D 2,4Ghz, 3650 DDR2) but I had to turn the shadows off and the FPS was really jumping up and down and there was horrible vertical lag and tearing.
hey i got asus f8 laptop
2.00ghz core 2 duo
3gb ddr2 ram
Radeon 3650HD 1gb
i get 25-35fps 1200x800 AA off every thing else on with texture auto, trinilar but its not smooth at all it really jumpy
why is this

I don't remember now if there are some settings for Vertical Sync, but it should be turned off. Try it for yourself. Also, when you got the game launched, go ALT-TAB, then CTRL-ALT-DEL and change COD's priority to "high" or atleast "beyond normal". It all gives me boost ups in the latest games.
Even COD MW2 is very smooth for me, and your laptop isn't worse than mine, so you know.

hey thanks a lot tunring off virtual sync and setting it priority to high i get 35-55 fps and is amazingly smooth , did the same thing to MW2 and get same results thanks a bunch man

Hey, no problem man!
If you're "hungry" of boost ups, there's still one left out there (helped me a lot too): Go to your ATI Catalyst Control Center > 3D > And move the slider one level to left (it will say "High Performance". It gave me like 10 more FPS in every game.

you mean the difficulty level? Well, this movie is not about skills, but performance.
