Justin & Adrienne ~ 4-7.12.1987 Emergency Centre fire rescue

While Adrienne is attending to the medical needs of her patient, the would-be arsonist makes his entry into the EC. Justin informs Victor their plans are going ahead as scheduled. Justin also enquires as to Adrienne's whereabouts and victor tells him she and Anjelica have not yet returned from their shopping expedition. At the EC, Kelly's Aunt mentions she smells smoke. Upon opening the exam room door, Adrienne discovers a frightening situation. The fire has well taken hold and they are trapped. Back at the mansion, Justin asks a staff member if he has seen Adrienne. Justin panics when he realises the dire catastrophe that lays before his wife and bolts out of the house as fast as he possibly can. Justin reaches the EC and sets about rescuing the occupants. Having carried Adrienne to safety, Justin accompanies her limp body to the hospital. Jo and Steve also make direct tracks there after receiving a phone call. Justin is on the verge of losing it, Victor doing his best to keep Justin calm--and quiet! Jo and Steve arrive, Steve demanding to know what happened, from Justin. Steve accuses Justin of not taking care of his wife as Justin lunges at Steve and the two men begin to exchange physical blows--Jo screaming in the background for them to stop...
