The acting in the movie wasn't the greatest...OBVIOUSLY! They are SEALs, not hollywood actors. But they are far better at kicking ass than any hollywood actor.

No. I'm not. You'll have to understand that your government is indirectly financiing all Hollywood movies in which american soldier looks "cool", "better", "the right person to be-ish". Indirectly means - using aircrafts, automobiles and other vehicles for free or for very low-cost. Such as Top Gun, Act of Valor etc. Movies like Platoon had a censorships. So yes. This movie is a "taxpayer-funded" warporn. It's all about money. They want commodities (oil atc.) so they ASK YOU to be part of
