Abp. Donald Wuerl on Pope Benedict's Message to the U.S.

Dear Archbishop Wuerl, please do not follow through on the Archdiocese's threat to end almost all of its social service programs as retaliation for the District's possible expansion of gay rights. Take a stand for your beliefs, yes, but don't hurt the innocent and the most vulnerable. We crucify Jesus again when we fail to help those of us who are most in need. God bless you, Your Grace!
