Your a scream. I laughed my ass off when you said "jees it's freekn hot." I laughed for like 10 minutes. With pretty simple tools and a desire to actually "make" something you seem to capture the innocence, creativity and spirit of a young man destine to accomplish something in life. Your an inspiration, keep it up. Your folks must be proud.

you should get grinder when you get older and grind all those impurities off of the metal like the slag and stuff instead of sanding it cause it it be smoother but shinier also

Awesome job, man. The "blood groove" thing is called a "fuller". There's a myth about it letting air into a wound so that you can pull the blade out against the suction once you've stabbed something, but actually it makes the blade stronger and more rigid without making it any heavier. A smaller blade can be stronger with a fuller.
