In this interview, Dr. Sharif Abdullah talks about the issue of criminality and morality in terms of five economic systems, color coded markets, easy to remember when you are confronted with the challenge of doing the right thing or first realizing that just because something is legal doesn't make it moral.

Dr. Abdullah is an author, consultant and a leading catalyst for inclusive social, cultural and spiritual transformation. Sharif is an expert in the emerging field of "demos-dynamics" -- how human populations interact and change. Sharif teaches groups and individuals how to understand and practice inclusivity -- the connection with all beings. His books include The Power of One: Authentic Leadership in Turbulent Times and the award-winning Creating a World That Works for All.

Sharif has worked with thousands of individuals and facilitated scores of transformation, empowerment and leadership sessions for various public and private organizations, including city and county governments, federal agencies like US Forest Service and HUD, international bodies like The United Nations, and Sarvodaya Shramadana and large corporations like Freightliner Corporation.

In addition, Sharif has facilitated workshops with organizations like Association for Humanistic Psychology, Institute of Noetic Sciences, the International Conflict Resolution Conference, Institute for Sustainable Development, and others.

He is Founder and President of the Commonway Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a society that is in line with our deepest spiritual values -- a global society that includes all peoples. Recognizing that we will not solve humanity's global problems with the same attitudes, philosophies and consciousness that created the problems in the first place, Commonway teaches people how to shape a world that works for all.

Sharif Abdullah was interviewed in November of 2010 by Ruth Ann Barrett of www.earthsayers.tv, the voices of sustainability.
