This is when I realize that I watch too much of Martin and Lewis. When I only see the dude playing Jerry light a cigarette, and see the pinkie ring. LOL!

I think doing a movie about Dean and Jerry is nearly impossible, because they were made famous by their personal images, facial expressions, and voices, so people would never want to see imitations of them.

I absolutely ADORE Sean Hayes and Jeremy Northam both, and they do very good jobs as well as they can in this movie...but it's a crappy ROLE to be cast in. They're never going to be as good as the actual people or make it believable :/ That's just the nature of the role, unfortunately.

I actually dont mind the casting for Dean Martin, i mean, personally i dont think they could ever find someone to play Dean and make it believable but i think Jeremy Northam seems more believable than most would be. I just dont think they portrayed Dean correctly...maybe thats just me. But i dont think thats the actors fault.

the guy playing dean is not very smooth, and is rat-like in appearance. they couldve casted better.

And what I meant was, you were trying to seperate Italians and Jewish people into different racial groups. Italians are predominately white and Jewish is not a race it's a religion
