Pikmin puzzle card-e part 2

There are 3 kinds of minigames you can download to the e-reader this is the first one that uses the red pikmin cards. You have to pluck all the pikmin out the ground to clear a level, they all land a certain amount of spaces away & some can only land on their own element tiles. These beginning levels are pretty easy but they get a lot harder as they go on, there are 60 levels for each of the 3 minigames you download into the e-reader.

so are these just cards you scanned into the gba with the ereader, or are these connected to the gamecube pikmin game?

You need to connect the ereader connected to the pikmin 2 game & select the ereader option in the game menu & then the type of puzzle you want to play (red,yellow,blue) once it's loaded into the ereader memory you then scan the cards in. Only the japanese version of pikmin 2 has the ereader function.

oh i see. so will a PAL version of pikmin 2 on the gamecube work, or does japan use a different region code thing?

Sadly not, the ereader function was removed from the pal & american versions of pikmin 2. To get it you would need a japanese copy of pikmin 2 & a japanese ereader.

Sweet, i want this... but i lost my e-reader...
