@wigginsdesign Also that Amazing sequence of events that start from a single tear. The tear that landed on the bird cage, which aroused the bird to chirp and sing, which annoyed the dog to bark, which aggrivated the old man to throw his bottle and frighten a pigeon into silly agitation, enought to fly by a passing car to excreet poo on the windshield, obscuring the view of the driver and allowing him to crash into a hydrant, which flooded the street,
which let out the rats along the alley and strait into the nightclub, which frightened the dancers so much they decied to abandon all modesty and run screaming and naked into the street where a city repairman buisy fixing a broken electrical connection looses focus on the job at hand and has such a serious accident that in a sudden blast and shower of sparks, plunges the whole city into darkness.
@wigginsdesign Including the light house at harbor , causing it to dissapear from view for the large ship coming into port, and without light it crashes spectacularly into the pier, blasting away plank by plank and board by board until miraculously it gently slows and stops dead at the feet of the twisted siamese twin sisters who call themselves 'the Octopuss'-- then the scene after that is just as great!
Absolutely...this scene of many amazing scenes truly blew my mind (as well as the brilliant breathtaking Opening sequence...I wish though that he caught more of this just before and just after.
than kyou for posting this with the actual brilliant soundtrack. This pure storytelling and filmmaking magic. This is my favorite film of its kind and this is along with opening are the best scenes ever made.
