does it ever snow in VA

@MVPBallin Yes it does. Not often and usually not much, but we usually get at least a little snow each year. However, in recent years I've noticed that our winters have become much milder overall. I have a motorcycle and I was able to ride it every month for the last two years. Even in January and February there are days where it gets up to 60 degrees or more. I've seen January days over 80 degrees. Very strange, but nice for those who want to lay out on the beach!

@VolailleCiel The school system in Virginia Beach is very good. Here's some facts:

Sixty-three of the division’s 81 eligible schools earned awards of excellence for the 2008-2009 school year from Governor Tim Kaine and the Virginia Board of Education.

Three of Virginia Beach Schools’ elementary schools earned 2009 Title I Distinguished School honors from the Virginia Department of Education
