i drive one with 44000 miles and its slow, sucks gas like a big v6, makes noises i dont hear in cars with double the milage, but it is comfortable and has a fairly good sound system for what it is. need to upgrade to a 3rd gen camaro lol
-
Mine has 216000 still running strong
-
I have a Sebring also its fucking embarrasing
-
i used to have a 2006 sebring. that was my baby, it was slow as fuck though.
-
I have this car. fun to drive but not to fill up
-
my dad has one of these, it's not fast but after 155k still runs okay, with no problems
-
@lion213549 Okay lol, don't have to prove anything to you. The Stratus I smoked was an sxt I4. The r/ts are fast, but the sxts are a dog. You say i'm lying out my ass, then you try to tell us you took out a turbo civic, with a 168hp dodge? I hope you are not retarded enough to think that just because a ricer has HKS turbo stickers on his car, that he actually has a turbo. But hey good for you, I mean not everyone can beat a 16 year old kid, that has a fart can.
-
lol this guys lyin out his ass :P
i have a cirrus... same thing... 168 hp stock. i have 206000 miles on it
... and still took a honda civic with a turbo in it.... sorry guy, the cirrus is a v6, you gotta do a ton of shit to a shitty car to make it pass the less shitty 168 hp dodge lol. people get civics to sink thousands under the hood, with 125 horsepower, id get my skateboard out to race ya :P
-
Lol I hope your just kidding. I walked a four cylinder Dodge Stratus sxt coupe with like no effort before. That was with a stock 125hp Honda. XD
This comment has received too many negative votes show

2.4L engines aren't meant for performance. The 2.7L is geared the same so mileage suffers but performance is better. The 2.4L is more economical if you plan to keep it for several years, engine maintenance is a lot simpler and even a partly skilled person is more than capable of doing minor repairs in a garage. I loved my old Dodge Spirits for the rear seat room, simple driving dynamics and ease of maintenance - plus parts were easy to find. Can't beat 4cyl power

Very true. The engine has been reliable, and is very easy to work on. Gas mileage around town, light footed, a very disappointing 20mpg.

wow the diff. from a 2004 2.4 litre to a 2004 2.7 litre is much different. my old ladys car is much faster than that with only .3litre difference. hmm..

One car very noisy engine too. Hate the driving position its uncomfortable and sit too high no height adjustment. Doesn't get good mpg 20 city if you're lucky, but 29 highway. Around 34000 miles now & the exhaust gasket is leaking, had to clamp pvc hose from the engine because its loose. Battery died after only 3 years old, had to take off the front wheel to replace the battery, there wasn't enough room with the wheel on to get it out.
The wifey loves it, I'm just glad its not my daily driver..
