Super Mario Bassoon quartet

I switched from saxaphone to bassoon. tenor to be excact. the embouchure is similar, the real trick is the fact that there are more thumb keys than finger keys. it took me about a month to get it down... learning bass clef was also hard for me but if you know that already you;re set:D

this makes me so proud to be a bassoon player : ]

wow, i play the baritone and judging from what i know on playing from bass to treble, that was FUCKING AWESOME.

That was awesome! I can't believe that I didn't like the bassoon a few years ago.. I LOVE the timbre! Not to mention you guys have great tone!

Also, where did you guys get the music? IS a a hand written or a store bought?

Yeah so bassoon is awesome. And the switch really isn't as hard as some say. I played flute at first and the ambitur is totally different. I excelled at both, but preferred the bassoon. Then went on to play the trombone and percussion. Bassoon has my heart though. It's such a weird, beautiful instrument. :)

is it hard to switch from reading treble clef to bass clef? i have some trouble but im not sure whether i should

It's hard switching from instrument to instrument anyway, and bassoon is a difficult instrument, but GO FOR IT. There is nothing to lose.
