Bahá'í Prayer Passages of Bahá'u'lláh, the Báb and
'Abdu'l-Bahá.
The above-mentioned Personages are the three Central
Figures of the Bahá'í Faith. Bahá'u'lláh ("The Glory of
God") is the Prophet-Founder. The Báb ("The Gate") is
the Forerunner of the Faith. And 'Abdu'l-Bahá ("The
Servant of Glory") is the Interpreter of the Bahá'í
Writings and the Exemplar of its teachings.
These passages are mostly brief excerpts taken from
selected prayers found in the general prayer section
of "Bahá'í Prayers - A Selection Of Prayers Revealed
By Bahá'u'lláh, The Báb, And 'Abdu'l-Bahá" (Bahá'í
Publishing Trust, Wilmette, Illinois, National Spiritual
Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States, 1991
Edition, Copyright: Bahá'í International Community.)
Prayer titles provided here are not parts of the scripture.
Full-length versions of the prayers in English and other
languages are online at http://www.bahaiprayers.org/.
A title search for the complete prayer book in English
will display websites providing copies in various
formats without charge.
The slide show videos of the prayer passages shown
here are silent with little visual imagery. The passages
are intended for personal review or recitation by the
readers in the hope that they may, as Bahá'u'lláh has
written, "...soar up on the wings of assistance from
Holy Souls..."
