I just like this Opening~
not because it's Ecchi and show alot of nudity, but because of the song "In My Dream"
-
I would, it's one of my favourite songs from SRW J

so many tits ( . ) ( . )

Where is the Ecchi part, cartoons with no vagina doesn't sound ecchi.

@Sargonarhes I guess Yuu was somewhat fatherly to his Brain, since he encouraged it and comforted it. Jonathan on the other hand was as much a child as any of the Brains, rebellious to a fault. Lasse and Nanga were more casual overall, I guess.

@Arrowdodger you might be right, the series does focus mostly on the women. With only Yuu and Johnathan Glenn being the few notable male pilots that seem to make it to the end of the show. And Johnathan's end was unexpected because it was his mother that was in the Baron. This series was easily all about females and motherhood. That and Tomino was in a better mood and didn't live up to his "kill'em all" mentality. The cockpits are just like a woman's womb in location and other things.

@Sargonarhes Honestly, I think the nudity in the opening is supposed to invoke pregnancy imagery. After all, with the exception of Yuu and the other males, most of the pilots of note are women, and the Brains and Novis are under their guidance. They always call them "Child", and the Brains bond with them at their birth, so really, I think it was supposed to be a not really sensual, but symbolic way of showing them as mothers.

I've watch the whole series, it's Tomino's response to Evangelion. The ecchi content within the series is zero. But I just can't explain the images for the opening of the series. Except for the fact that all the mecha are organic mechs and are considered to be female because of the location of the cockpit, which it's ironic it's called that. And that could be the reason for it all.

@manveru666 no. Really, the anime itself is REALLY low on ecchi elements considering it's a mecha anime.
Would you believe me if I said I only watched this vid for the song?
