What closed Hospital and abandoned Mall. St Joe`s is a lifecare centre now fully operational, downtown is updated greatly with the ugly side finally being torn down and the old brantford mall has been more more for years now, do you actually live here still, We win awards yearly for the parks, there is a completely new Wayne Gretzky Sports complex going up with quad arena and new pool among a myriad of other upgrades to the city.

Brantford has never looked good, someone should refilm this route and show the closed hospital, abandoned mall oh and don't forget the daycare center attached to the HIGH SCHOOL for the students kids

Holy shit!!! Hahahahahha! God, I was 2 when this was shot. I remember some of the streets still looking like that when I was older but now it looks very different!!

I was almost done highschool at this time, and it reminds me of my bus rides thru town everyday. Thanks for the memories! Never realized how old the cars looked in 1990...I suddenly feel reeeeaaal old,lol.

Thank you so much for posting this footage of Brantford. I used to spend March Break and a couple of weeks every summer from the late 60's through the early '80s visiting my grandparents who lived down in Holmedale. So much of what you show of "Uptown" on Dalhousie St. has long-sice dissappeared. So much of Uptown was torn down and the whole Eaton's/Market Square was a total disaster.
So sad.. you've caught the end of a once very vibrant city core.
