logic sucks for beats.... im jumpin ship....

I hear Logics great for the sync of video to your music and so on 'n' some of the many bundeled synths and effects are ok (but there are plugins that are far superior to them that work with any DAW)
But all in all i would say specificly for hip hop production and even more specificly for sample bassed hip hop production Logic isn't really the way forward for many many reasons.
But yea Ableton Live (well really Ableton Suite) is a good stright out the box solution.

logic has some great sounds.. but not my cup of tea.. if i could take the sounds from there i'd do it
